SMOKED SALMON DIP
Irresistibly Addictive and Perfect for Any Occasion
I dare you to stop at just one sleeve of Ritz crackers with this smoked fish dip—I've never been able to! Whether you're snacking on the boat or at home, this dip is dangerously addictive and holds up well in the fridge for up to a week, so be sure to make a big batch. I love to go heavy on the fish, which gives it that irresistible flavor. While salmon is a classic choice, feel free to use other smoked fish like whitefish, tuna, halibut, or whatever you have on hand. Once you try it, you'll see why this dip is a must-have for any occasion.
Ingredients
8 oz package of Cream cheese
¾ cup mayonnaise
2 lbs or 4 cups of shredded smoked salmon, skin and bones removed
2 tablespoons Capers
1 tablespoon caper juice
Juice from ½ Lemon
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
½ tablespoon crushed fresh garlic or 4 medium crushed cloves of garlic
Directions
Let the cream cheese come to room temperature. Mix it well with a big spoon or with a mixer until it is smooth and creamy. Add in the mayo and mix well. Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Taste and adjust the lemon, garlic, and Worcestershire based on your personal preferences. Serve with crackers.
